El Paso, TX — September 29, 2023, Diego Ivan Benjamin Martinez was killed, and one was injured in a motorcycle-car crash in the 3300 block of North Mesa Street in El Paso, TX.
Authorities indicate that on September 29, a fatal crash occurred when a motorcycle and a car collided in El Paso. According to reports, the crash happened around 2:18 in the afternoon.
Investigators say the motorcyclist was traveling northbound along North Mesa Street when it collided with a Volkswagen. Police state that the Volkswagen allegedly pulled into the motorcycle's path. The bike then struck the Volkswagen's passenger side. The accident reportedly happened in the 3300 block of North Mesa Street.
Officials confirmed that the motorcyclist, Diego Ivan Benjamin Martinez, 19, suffered fatal injuries. The Volkswagen driver sustained injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The driver's condition is unknown at this time. No further information is currently available.
