Harris County, TX — December 15, 2025, one person was killed and two people were injured following a dog attack incident around 10:00 a.m. off Porter Road.
Initial details say the incident happened at a park off the corner of Porter Road and Franz Road.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a man at the park was attacked by three dogs. Due to that attack, the man died. Following the initial attack, reports say the dogs were chased off, and they attacked a woman and a child along Permission Creek Lane. The pair had reportedly non-life-threatening injuries.
All three dogs were reportedly secured by authorities. The incident remains under investigation at this time.

Hopefully authorities are looking into where these dogs came from and if there were any known issues or past incidents to be aware of. At the end of the day, animals can be unpredictable. If dogs that were previously fine suddenly attacked someone, there’s not much anyone could do to prevent that. But if there were any signs something like this might happen, it’s important to determine why steps weren’t taken to prevent it and who was responsible for taking those steps.
