Donald Eldon Gordon Jr. Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident in Austin, TX
Austin, TX — September 21, 2023, Donald Eldon Gordon Jr. was killed due to a single-vehicle car accident at around 7:36 p.m. along East 51st Street.
Preliminary information about the accident released by authorities indicates that the incident happened at the intersection of East 51st Street and Mueller Boulevard.
According to officials, 67-year-old Donald Gordon Jr. was reportedly the driver of a Ford Focus going westbound along East 51st. Just off the corner of Mueller, the vehicle somehow ended up going off the right side of the road where it eventually hit an electrical box.
Gordon's injuries ultimately proved fatal following the accident. There were no other passengers mentioned in reports, and there is no report of other vehicles being involved in the accident. The crash is still under investigation.
