Dora Maria Garcia, 2 Injured in Car Accident in Fannin County, TX
Fannin County, TX — August 19, 2023, Dora Maria Garcia and two others were injured after a car accident at 8:08 p.m. along Highway 78.
According to initial details about the crash released by authorities, the incident occurred in the area of the highway 78 and County Road 5015 intersection.

Officials said that 62-year-old Dora Maria Garcia and two others were in a Toyota Scion TC said to be going westbound along the highway. It appears the vehicle went through a dip, then somehow lost control and ran off the side of the road. This led to the vehicle skidding off-road where it overturned.
As a result of the accident, Garcia and one of the other occupants in the Toyota had incapacitating injuries. The other occupant had non-incapacitating injuries. Currently, the exact circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation.
