Dwayne Douglas Sarabia Injured in Hit-and-Run Car Accident on I.H. 45 in Houston, TX
Houston, TX — February 16, 2024, Dwayne Douglas Sarabia was injured in a hit-and-run car versus motorcycle accident just after 3:30 a.m. along the Gulf Freeway, I.H. 45.
According to authorities, 28-year-old Dwayne Douglas Sarabia was traveling on a northbound Honda motorcycle along the I.H. 45 frontage road in the vicinity where Peace Street merges with St. Joseph Parkway when the accident took place.

The causal factors that led to the accident are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the rear-end of the motorcycle was struck by a motor vehicle of unknown make and model. The persons(s) in the vehicle allegedly fled the scene, failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim.
Sarabia incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the crash; he was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reported to have been rainy and wet.
Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
