Dylan Bird Killed, 2 Injured in Car Accident in Amarillo, TX

Amarillo, TX — January 12, 2025, Dylan Bird was killed and two others were injured in a car accident sometime during the night along Hillside Road.

According to authorities, 37-year-old Dylan Thomas Bird and a child were traveling in a Subaru in the left-of-two eastbound lanes of Hillside Road in the vicinity of Shawnee Trail when the accident took place.

The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Subaru apparently attempted a lane change to the right lane at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the Subaru and a Ford Focus that had been traveling in the right lane.
