Commentary on El Paso Man Dual Truck Accident on US 84 in McLennan County
With a situation like this, it's always important to make sure authorities were actually thorough, considering even unusual, unlikely possible circumstances. There's no telling what they may have overlooked unless there are more thorough independent investigations.
A while back, for example, I was looking into a crash out in West Texas where authorities say a man ran a stop sign, leading to a deadly wreck. However, further investigations showed that TxDOT actually removed those stop signs while working there earlier in the day, but they failed to replace them when they left. So how exactly did a driver urn a stop sign that wasn't there?
Maybe nothing so unusual happened here, but it's important to avoid jumping to conclusions and to instead focus on getting the answers that the victims and families involved will need to get help for their troubles.
