Emma Wade & Child Killed in Truck Accident in Lauderdale County, AL
Lauderdale County, AL — March 30, 2023, Emma Wade and a 1-year-old child were killed in a collision with a semi-truck around 8:55 a.m. on Hwy. 64 in Lauderdale County.
According to authorities, Emma Wade was driving a Honda Pilot with five children as occupants when the Honda Pilot collided with a semi-truck head-on.
Emma Wade and all five children were airlifted to a hospital with reportedly serious injuries. Emma Wade and a 1-year-old later succumbed to the injuries sustained in the crash. The semi-truck driver was reportedly transported by motor vehicle to a local hospital for medical treatment.
The cause of the crash requires further investigation. There are no other details at this time.
