Laredo, TX — December 18, 2024, Ernesto Martinez Jr. was killed following a car accident that occurred at around 1:40 A.M. on Hwy 359.
Authorities are investigating after a car chase with police left one man dead during the early morning hours of December 18th. According to official reports, Ernesto Martinez Jr. was travelling in his Chevy Camaro on Hwy. 359 while evading police, when the vehicle lost control and collided with a concrete barrier.
Martinez sustained critical injuries during the crash, and was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Currently there have been no further details of the crash released by authorities, however this remains an open investigation.
