Ernie Rodriguez Killed in Car Accident on C.R. 1612 in San Patricio, TX
San Patricio, TX — March 25, 2023, Ernie Rodriguez was killed in a car accident around 1:11 a.m. on C.R. 1612 in San Patricio.
Sources report the victim's northbound Kia Sorento collided head-on with a southbound Ford F-350. Mr. Rodriguez was transported to a hospital with reportedly serious injuries that he later succumbed to. He was pronounced deceased at the hospital about an hour after the crash. The F-350 driver reportedly suffered possible injuries and the four occupants in the F-350 were reportedly uninjured.
Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
