Man Killed, Teens Injured in Car Accident on Bellfort Ave. in Houston, TX
Houston, TX — April 13, 2023, a man sustained fatal injuries and two teens were hurt following a car accident at 11:45 a.m. on Bellfort Avenue.
Harris County and Houston Police officials say that the incident happened near the intersection of Bellfort Avenue and Nunn Street/Swallow Street.

Their initial statements said that an 81-year-old man was in a Chevy pickup going westbound along Bellfort. While doing so, the man reportedly attempted to make a turn into a parking lot. A Chevy Impala that was going eastbound on Bellfort then crashed into the pickup.
As a result of the collision, the 81-year-old man sustained serious injuries. Houston city officials released a statement that the man died from the injuries he sustained in the crash on Tuesday, April 18. Two people from the other car, a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old, were taken from the scene with unspecified injuries. Right now, additional details surrounding the crash are unavailable.
