Man Killed in Car Accident on Fannin Street in Houston, TX
Houston, TX — April 26, 2023, a man was fatally injured as the result of a car accident at around 10:50 a.m. along Fannin Street.
Investigators with the Houston Police Department were called to the intersection of Fannin Street and Wichita Street in the Museum District.

Their initial statements about the crash say that it involved an 80-year-old man who was in a GMC Jimmy. As the GMC was traveling southbound on Fannin, it crossed Wichita where it collided with a Volvo that was also going through the intersection.
As a result of this collision, the 80-year-old man sustained injuries which proved fatal. Authorities did not mention any other injuries. At this time, more information is required to confirm the exact cause for the crash. Authorities have yet to release additional details.
