Felipe Moreno Killed in Work Accident in Huntsville, TX
Huntsville, TX — May 19, 2022, Felipe Moreno sustained fatal injuries due to a work accident where Moreno fell at a job site along Brahman Lane.
Officials with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration gave initial details about the accident in their investigation summary. It said the incident happened at around 1:45 p.m. along Brahman Lane at what appears to be a residence.

It appears that 60-year-old Felipe Moreno was preparing to do masonry work and was "raising scaffold outriggers" at the time. While doing so, Moreno reported fell trying to get from one area to another, causing him to fall approximately 12 feet. Due to this, Moreno sustained a fatal head injury.
Additional details surrounding the accident aren't confirmed at this time. The OSHA investigation summary listed six different alleged violations, all of which were deemed to be of a "serious" nature. The reports also show a recommended fine of over $10,000, the current status of which is unclear. Details pending further investigations are unclear at this time.
