One Injured in Firetruck Accident on Garland Road in Dallas, TX
Dallas, TX — April 26, 2023, one person sustained injuries as the result of a firetruck accident at around 11:15 a.m. along Garland Road.
Preliminary statements about the truck accident were provided by Dallas Fire-Rescue. Their statements said that the crash occurred just off the corner of Garland Road and Winsted Drive.

Leading up to the collision, it appears a Dallas Fire truck was responding to an emergency call. The truck reportedly had its lights and sirens activated. Details also say that it was raining heavily at the time of the crash. The truck apparently hydroplaned on the wet roadway, which led to the truck crashing into another vehicle. This sent the firetruck off-road.
Due to the collision, one person in the vehicle hit by the firetruck was taken to a hospital. Their injuries were said to be non-life-threatening. No one else appeared to be injured in the crash. Right now, additional details about the crash are unavailable.
