Pecos County, TX — March 14, 2023, a Fort Stockton man and another person were injured after an accident involving a semi-truck along F.M. 1053.
Investigators said that the incident happened at around 7:57 a.m. near mile marker 400 of F.M. 1053.

Initial details from authorities say that a 51-year-old Fort Stockton man was in a Ford F-250 was headed southbound along the roadway. Approaching the Pecos County Water Control Improvement District Office, details suggest that the Ford slowed down to turn.
While slowing, a Freightliner truck, also going southbound, allegedly failed to control speed and crashed into the Ford. The collision caused the Ford to go off-road where it then overturned into a fence. The Freightliner also ran off-road and overturned.
As a result of the collision, the Fort Stockton man was said to have incapacitating injuries. The Freightliner driver’s injuries were said to be non-incapacitating. Right now, additional details surrounding the crash remain unconfirmed.
