Francisco David Hernandez Killed, Scott Martin Sweatt Injured in Car Accident in Irving, TX
Irving, TX — June 4, 2023, Francisco Hernandez was killed and Scott Sweatt was injured after a car accident at around 6:38 a.m. along Loop 12.
According to preliminary details released by authorities, the incident happened along the northbound lanes of Walton Walker near Shady Grove Road.

Authorities said in their statements that 21-year-old Francisco Hernandez was in an Audi said to be going southbound along the roadway. 48-year-old Scott Sweatt was reportedly in a northbound Dodge Ram. Their vehicles collided head-on, according to officials.
As a result of the collision, Hernandez sustained fatal injuries. Sweatt's injuries were described as incapacitating. Currently, investigations do not confirm the factors leading up to the crash. No further information is available to report at this time.
