Francisco Javier Martinez Injured in Hit-and-Run Car Accident in Clint, TX
El Paso County, TX — March 14, 2024, Francisco Javier Martinez was injured in a hit-and-run, rear-end car accident at approximately 8:45 p.m. along Alameda Avenue..
According to authorities, 27-year-old Francisco Javier Martinez and three other people were traveling in a southeast bound Dodge Challenger which was at a halt at the Clint San Elizario Road intersection when the accident occurred.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a southeast bound Honda Civic failed to come to a stop, as well, resulting in a collision between the front-end of the Civic and the rear-end of the Challenger. The Honda reportedly fled the scene, failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victims. However, the person who had been behind the wheel of the hit-and-run vehicle was later located by authorities, according to reports.
Martinez incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck. He was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
