Frank Luna Injured in 18-wheeler Accident in Henderson County, TX
Henderson County, TX — May 15, 2023, Frank Luna was injured as the result of an 18-wheeler accident at around 7:13 a.m. along Highway 31.
Investigations from officials indicate that the crash happened in the area of the Highway 31 and County Road 1220 intersection.

According to officials, 18-year-old Frank Luna was in a Ford Ranger that was traveling eastbound along Highway 31. It was apparently foggy at the time as Luna was approaching the County Road 1220 intersection. It appears that an oncoming 18-wheeler was attempting to turn left onto southbound C.R. 1220. The trailer was in eastbound lanes when Luna crossed, resulting in a collision.
As a result of the collision, Luna sustained injuries described as incapacitating. No other injuries were reported. At this time, details from authorities show their investigations included looking into the possibility of failure to yield and headlight usage. Nothing can be confirmed pending further details.
