Pearland, TX — August 12, 2024, Gershom Metoyer was injured following a car accident at around 5:05 P.M. on Broadway St.
An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the evening hours of August 12th. According to official reports, Gershom Metoyer was travelling in a Honda Pilot on Broadway Street in the westbound lanes, when an Infiniti failed to yield the right-of-way when turning into a private drive, pulled in front of Metoyer, and struck them.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Metoyer had sustained serious injuries and transported them to the hospital. At this time there has been no further information released about the accident, including the status of Metoyer’s injuries and whether any charges or citations will be filed.
