Teenager Injured in Golf Cart Accident on Eleventh Street in Port Aransas, TX
Port Aransas, TX — March 11, 2023, a teenager sustained injuries as the result of a golf cart accident which happened just before midnight on Eleventh Street.
Preliminary details provided by authorities indicate that the single-vehicle crash took place at approximately 11:56 p.m. on Eleventh Street off the corner of Royal Palm Lane.

According to initial information, six teenagers were riding in a golf cart which was said to be going northbound along South Eleventh Street. While doing so, the golf cart somehow overturned while making a turn. This caused several occupants to fall from the golf cart.
As a result, authorities say at least one person on the golf cart, a 17-year-old girl, had incapacitating injuries. Another teenager, an 18-year-old girl, had unspecified injuries. The conditions of the others involved either remains unclear or were said to be not injured.
At this time, authorities have not publicly confirmed the official cause for the crash. No further information is available.
