Hermes Ivan Balderrama, Miguel Angel Soto Killed, 1 Injured in Car Accident in Horizon City, TX
Hudspeth County, TX — July 5, 2023, Hermes Ivan Balderrama and Miguel Angel Soto were killed and one was injured following a car accident on I-10 at around 2:47 a.m.
Authorities reported that the incident happened along the eastbound lanes of the interstate in the area of Sierra Blanca.
According to officials, 39-year-old Hermes Balderrama was in a Ford F-250 that was going eastbound on I-10. The Ford apparently collided head-on with a Jeep that was said to be going westbound along the eastbound lanes.
Due to this collision, Balderrama sustained fatal injuries. One person from the Jeep, identified as 60-year-old Miguel Angel Soto, was also killed. One other person was injured. Exact factors leading up to the crash cannot be confirmed at this time.
