Auburn, AL — October 1, 2023, Jaylin Hubbard and Kayla Byrd were killed in a car crash on South College Street in Lee County, Auburn, AL.
Authorities indicate that on October 1, a fatal accident occurred when a vehicle crashed in Lee County for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened sometime before 3:00 in the morning.
Investigators say the vehicle was traveling along South College Street when it suddenly struck a tree in the median. Police have not released the cause of the crash, and few details are available at this time.
Officials confirmed that Jaylin Hubbard, 26, and Kayla Byrd, 26, suffered fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were said to be involved.
