Jeremy Michael Namink Killed, Truck Driver Injured in Truck Accident in Bee County, TX
Bee County, TX — March 16, 2023, Jeremy Michael Namink was killed and a truck driver was injured in a collision with an 18-wheeler around 12:10 a.m. on Hwy. 359 in Bee County.
According to authorities, Jeremy Michael Namink's Chevy Suburban was eastbound while a semi-truck with tow trailers was westbound on Hwy. 359 when the two vehicles collided head-on. The collision reportedly forced Jeremy Michael Namink's Chevy Suburban to rotate counterclockwise and come to a stop off the east side of the road. The semi-truck continued westbound and struck a utility pole on the west side of the road. The semi-truck tractor and both trailers reportedly caught fire.
Jeremy Michael Namink suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and the semi-truck driver was flown to a hospital with purportedly life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
