Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
After any fatal work accident, it's obviously important to find out what happened. However, given the fact Texas work fatality law is the most complex of any other state in the country, it's equally important to know: What comes next for the worker's loved ones? Despite what many think, there isn't always an automatic process for that. It often takes teams of experienced professionals working in the interests of the family to keep the playing field level so they can get a resolution that's just and fair. Were those steps ever taken here?
