Jesse Wilhite Killed, Lane Magnuson, Trevor King, Rayna Buck, Minor Injured in Ca Accident in Caldwell, TX
Caldwell, TX — March 9, 2024, Jesse Wilhite was killed, while Lane Magnuson, Trevor King, Rayna Buck and a minor were injured in a single-car accident at about 6:15 a.m. along S.H. 36.
According to authorities, 18-year-old Jesse Wilhite, a 17-year-old girl, 18-year-old Trevor King, 19-year-old Lane Magnuson, and 19-year-old Rayna Buck were traveling in a Chevy Silverado along State Highway 36 in the vicinity of County Road 315 when the accident took place.

The causal factors that led to the accident are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the pickup truck failed to safely maintain its lane of travel. It reportedly veered off of the roadway and crashed into a ditch where it overturned. All five occupants of the vehicle were allegedly ejected during the course of the accident.
Wilhite incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck an was declared deceased at the scene. King and Buck both sustained suspected critical injuries and were flown to area hospitals in order to receive immediate treatment. Magnuson and the minor female suffered suspected severe injuries, as well. They were driven by EMS to local medical facilities in order to receive care.
Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
