Amarillo, TX — April 19, 2023, Joaquin Sanchez and Ericka Sanchez were injured following a car accident at around 9:09 p.m. along Bell Street.
Preliminary details surrounding the crash were released by officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety. Details suggest the incident happened at the intersection of Bell Street and Southwest 48th Avenue during dry conditions.
Current information suggests that 47-year-old Joaquin Sanchez and Ericka Sanchez were in a Nissan Armada traveling northbound along Bell. As the Nissan attempted to make a turn at the SW 48th Avenue intersection, a collision occurred with a southbound Toyota Camry.
As a result of the collision, Joaquin Sanchez reportedly had incapacitating injuries. Ericka Sanchez was said to have non-incapacitating injuries.
