Houston, TX — November 28, 2024, JoeRamon “Ramon” Janas was killed after a car accident at about 1 a.m. on F.M. 529 in northwest Harris County.
The 27-year-old reportedly crashed into a utility pole after he lost control of his 2007 Toyota Tacoma in the 13500 block of F.M. 529, which is also known as Spencer Road.
Authorities said Janas was driving westbound at about 12:53 a.m. He swerved to avoid a dog in the road, veering left and right before his truck struck a utility pole.
The crash caused the truck to turn over, according to authorities.
Janas was found unresponsive inside the overturned vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.
The accident remains under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
