John Joseph Wall Killed in Work Accident in Sealy, TX
Sealy, TX — April 19, 2022, John Joseph Wall was killed as the result of a work accident involving argon gas exposure along Bartlett Road.
Preliminary details released by OSHA officials show that the incident occurred at around 1:30 p.m. along Bartlett Road just off Interstate 10.

Information suggests that 35-year-old John Joseph Wall was doing welding work associated with the company Titan Metal Fabricators at the time of the accident. A summary states that John Wall was welding when argon gas somehow "displaced" oxygen, asphyxiating Wall.
Wall succumbed to fatal injuries as a result of the accident. No others were said to be injured. While specifics cannot all be confirmed at this time, the OSHA statements show they were investigating at least 10 alleged rule violations and recommended a penalty of approximately $21,500. The current status of the investigation is unclear at this time.
