Jorge Roberto Monterroso Injured in Car Accident in Austin, TX
Austin, TX — September 8, 2023, Jorge Roberto Monterroso was injured following a single-vehicle car accident at around 11:00 p.m. on East Anderson Lane.
Initial details about the crash released by authorities indicate that it took place just off the East Anderson Lane/U.S. 183 and Interstate 35 interchange.
According to officials, 52-year-old Jorge Roberto Monterroso was in a Toyota Highlander said to be going along the highway. For reasons not currently confirmed, the vehicle veered to the right and hit the barrier, then veered back to the left into the opposite barrier.
Due to the crash, Monterroso sustained incapacitating injuries, authorities said. There did not appear to be any other passengers or vehicles involved in the crash. No further information about the crash is available at this time.
