1 Killed, Joseph Epperson, 1 Injured in Car Accident in Medina County, TX
Medina County, TX — March 9, 2024, one person was killed and Joseph Epperson and one other were injured following a car accident around 2:30 a.m. on I-35.
According to officials, the crash took place along the east I-35 service road near mile marker 120, south of Devine.

Investigators said in preliminary statements that 25-year-old Joseph Epperson and a 34-year-old woman were in a Dodge Ram pickup going southbound along the interstate service road. A 24-year-old man was in a Nissan Sentra which was going northbound. Due to unclear events, the vehicles collided head-on.
The driver of the Nissan died as a result of the crash. Epperson and his passenger had injuries described as non-serious. Currently, the cause of the crash remains unconfirmed. Investigators have yet to release additional details to the public.
