Coley Ray Dool Jr. Killed, Jozell Marcelino Gonzalez Jr., 2 Injured in Motorcycle Car Accident on S.H. 21 in Mustang Ridge, TX
UPDATE (April 4, 2024): Recent reports have been released which clarify what happened leading up to and during this accident. According to these reports, 22-year-old Coley Ray Dool Jr. and a 19-year-old woman were traveling on a westbound Harley-Davidson Motorcycle along Camino Real approaching the Mustang Meadow Run intersection when the accident took place. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a southbound Cadillac occupied by 19-year-old Jozell Marcelino Gonzalez Jr. and an 18-year-old man on Mustang Meadow Run entered the intersection at an apparently unsafe time. Authorities have stated that the motorcycle may have been traveling at unsafe speeds in the time leading up to the wreck.
A T-bone collision followed between the left side of the Cadillac and the front-end of the motorcycle. Dool suffered reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the crash and was declared deceased at the scene. The other three people involved all sustained severe injuries, as well, reports state. They were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
Mustang Ridge, TX — March 10, 2024, one person was killed and three were injured following a motorcycle versus car accident at approximately 9:20 p.m. along S.H. 21.
According to authorities, the accident took place on Camino Real, State Highway 21, in the vicinity of the Mustang Meadow Run intersection.

The causal factors that led to the accident are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle collided. One of the victims incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene. Three other people sustained apparently critical injuries and were transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identities of the victims—are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
