Sources report the victim's southbound Ford Escape was approaching the intersection with McGuire Ln. when the SUV somehow left the road on the passenger side, collided with a residence's gas meter and chain-link fence, and then struck a tree on the other side of McGuire Ln.
Authorities report the speed limit for Dalrock is 40 mph. Additionally, authorities ruled out poor visibility as a potential cause of the crash, but are investigating other factors.
