An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the afternoon hours of September 30th. According to official reports, Kathryn Wright was travelling in a Nissan Rogue on Greenhouse Rd. in the northbound lanes, near Cypress Bay Dr. when a Toyota Highlander coming from behind Wright, failed to control their speed and struck Wright.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Wright had sustained serious injuries and transported Wright to the hospital.
