Kenneth Wayne Thornhill III Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident in Corpus Christi, TX
Corpus Christi, TX — October 12, 2023, Kenneth Wayne Thornhill III was killed in a hit-and-run crash on County Road 26 at County Road 49A in Corpus Christi, TX.
Authorities indicate that on October 12, a fatal accident occurred when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Corpus Christi. According to reports, the accident happened sometime before 6:00 in the morning.
Investigators say the pedestrian was found on County Road 26 at County Road 49A, in the area of Saratoga Boulevard and Old Brownsville Road. Sources say the man was still alive when officers arrived at the scene but succumbed to his injuries shortly after. Police say the vehicle that struck the man allegedly fled the scene and has not been located.
Officials identified the man killed in the crash as 34-year-old Kenneth Wayne Thornhill III. No additional information has been released at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
