Wethersfield, CT — October 22, 2023, three were killed and three were injured in a tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 91 South near Exit 25 in Wethersfield, CT.
Authorities indicate that on October 22, a fatal accident occurred when two vehicles crashed in Wethersfield. According to reports, the crash happened just after 4:50 in the morning. Investigators say an SUV was traveling along Interstate 91 when it suddenly struck a tractor-trailer parked on the shoulder. Police have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
Officials confirmed that the SUV driver and a passenger suffered fatal injuries. Another passenger was reportedly taken to an area hospital and did not survive. Three other SUV passengers had non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities are still investigating the events that led to the crash.
