Larry Montgomery, 2 Killed in Car Accident on South Cockrell Hill in Dallas, TX
UPDATE (January 20, 2023): Statements from authorities identified one of the victims killed in the crash as 44-year-old Larry Montgomery. The details also clarify that there were two additional victims: an unidentified 17-year-old boyin a GMC Terrain and a 52-year-old woman in Montgomery's vehicle. The cause of the crash still has yet to be confirmed.
Dallas, TX -- December 15, 2022, two people were killed and one was injured in an accident where multiple vehicles crashed on Cockrell Hill.
Investigators said that the incident happened at around 8:00 p.m. along South Cockrell Hill Road near Kiest Boulevard.
In initial reports, officials did not say what caused the crash. They said only that multiple vehicles crashed, resulting in two people losing their lives. One person as taken to a hospital in reportedly critical condition. Right now, additional details are unavailable.

With a deadly wreck like this, one of the bigger challenges is simply ensuring the crash is getting the attention it deserves. I can't begin to count how many times families came to me with reports from authorities that barely scratched the surface in terms of evidence. Answers are just about the most important thing a family can have after a devastating crash like this. Are the steps being taken here to ensure the families involved here get those answers?
