Fort Worth, TX — March 14, 2024, Laura McTaggart was killed and one other person was injured in a car accident just after 4:00 p.m. along McCart Avenue.
According to authorities, 65-year-old Laura McTaggart was a passenger in a northbound Ford Fusion along with a 46-year-old woman on McCart Avenue at the Edgecliff Road intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the Ford attempted a left turn into a private parking lot at an unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way to southbound traffic. This resulted in a collision between the passenger side of the Ford and the front-end of a Chevrolet Camaro.
McTaggart incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck, while the other occupant of the Ford sustained apparently moderate injuries. The injured victim was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
