Lawrence Russell, 2 Injured in Car Accident on Bellaire Blvd. in Houston, TX
Houston, TX — March 15, 2024, Lawrence Russell and two other people were injured in a car accident at approximately 8:15 p.m. along Bellaire Boulevard.
According to authorities, 63-year-old Lawrence Russell and a 34-year-old woman were traveling in a westbound Nissan Sentra along Mary Bates Boulevard at the Bellaire Boulevard intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, an eastbound Infiniti on Bellaire Boulevard neglected to stop for the red light indicated by the traffic signal, entering the intersection at an unsafe time. This resulted in a T-bone collision between the front-end of the Infinity and the right side of the Nissan.
Russell incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck. The woman from the Nissan and the 22-year-old man from the Infiniti sustained apparently minor injuries, as well. All three victims were transported to a local medical facilities by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment.
Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
