I wonder if during their investigations authorities looked into why this driver allegedly left the accident scene. In my experience, it’s rarely just avoiding consequences for the accident itself. There’s usually something else the driver wants to hide, such as drunk driving, warrants, or drugs. Did authorities find anything like that here?
