Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Anytime a crash like this occurs, my concern is that police don't actually know more than what they're telling the public. Sometimes, they're simply withholding evidence to make sure they're getting all the facts. Other times, though, they let important details slip through the cracks. I don't see a particular reason to think police here don't have things under control, but maybe if people saw how complex single-vehicle wrecks can actually be, they may appreciate why I and others looking for answers after a crash are usually better off with independent accident reconstructionists.
