Liliana Del Rio Injured in Car Accident in Clint, TX
El Paso County, TX — November 18, 2023, Liliana Del Rio was injured after a car accident that happened around 1:00 a.m. along Celum Road.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident happened in the area of Celum Road and Frey Road.

According to officials, 30-year-old Liliana Del Rio was in a Nissan Sentra rounding a curve to go northbound along Celum. Doing so, the vehicle somehow went off the right side of the road where it crashed and overturned.
Del Rio was taken from the scene for what were described as serious injuries. No one else was reportedly involved in the crash, and authorities mentioned not having any witnesses. If that's true, I hope they were more thorough than a lot of police investigations I've seen where witness testimony was the officer's only source of information.
Unfortunately, a lot of departments put single-vehicle wrecks low on their list of priorities. As such, there are times officers only investigate at the the crash scene. Anything beyond that just falls by the wayside. Well, if the victims is rushed to a hospital, and there's no one there to tell officers what happened, the only way to get answers is through evidence. So if authorities never spoke to witnesses here, did they at least speak to the victim? Did they do an accident reconstruction to investigate unusual factors like mechanical issues or road defects? If not, they may be overlooking something important.
