Rockwall, TX — August 2, 2024, Lisa Mason was injured following a car accident at approximately 9:00 p.m. along the I.H. 30 westbound service road.
According to authorities, 47-year-old Lisa Mason was traveling in a Ford Edge in the right-most of two westbound lanes of the service road in the vicinity of the Village Drive intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a westbound Ford Fusion that had been in the left-hand lane attempted a right turn to head north on Village Drive from an inappropriate lane. This resulted in a collision between the front-left quarter of the Edge and the right side of the Fusion.
Mason suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the wreck and was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
