Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

Right now, there isn’t any information to suggest why this crash may have happened. Was the fence well-marked with reflective signage? Is this a common occurrence at this spot? Were there other extenuating circumstances affecting the driver’s visibility or ability to slow down? I know folks can be quick to blame motorcyclists, and they’re also quick to blame drivers in single-vehicle accidents. One way or the other, though, it’s best to wait for the facts.
