Torrington, CT -- December 15, 2022, Mahamadou Keita was killed due to an accident where a semi-truck crashed off-road.

Investigators said that the accident took place at around 5:00 a.m. in the area of Route 8, Hayden Hill Road, and Greenwoods Road.

It appears that 44-year-old Mahamadou Keita was in a semi-truck traveling along the roaday when it somehow left the road. There, the truck crashed through multiple objects before crashing down an embankment.

Due to the crash, Keita sustained fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported. Right now, authorities are saying they're looking into "speed and braking" as potential factors.
