Mark Smith Killed, Crystal Thompson Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident in Collin County, TX
Collin County, TX — April 1, 2023, Mark Smith was killed and Crystal Thompson was injured in a single-vehicle accident around 3:10 p.m. on F.M. 1827 in Collin County.
Officials report Mark Smith and Crystal Thompson were traveling northbound approaching the intersection with Creekview Landing Dr. when their motorcycle somehow veered off the road and overturned. Mr. Smith suffered fatal injuries and Ms. Thompson was transported to a medical center with reported minor injuries.
The cause of the crash requires further investigation, but reports indicate weather and visibility were not factors in the accident.
