Martin Gutierrez Injured in Car Accident on Presa St. in San Antonio, TX
Bexar County, TX — July 8, 2024, Martin Gutierrez was injured following a car accident shortly before 3:15 p.m. along Presa Street.
According to authorities, 49-year-old Martin Gutierrez and a 28-year-old man were traveling in a northbound Chevy Cruze in the middle turn lane on Presa Street at the VFW Boulevard intersection when the accident took place.

As the Cruze was taking a left turn onto VFW, reports state that, for as yet unknown reasons, an eastbound Dodge Avenger on VFW entered the intersection at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign. This resulted in a collision between the Avenger and the Cruze.
Gutierrez suffered suspected severe injuries due to the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility for treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
