Lubbock, TX — July 29, 2025, Matthew Zerrata was injured as the result of a car accident at around midnight along Upland Avenue.
According to preliminary details, the crash took place southwest of the city at Upland Avenue and 103rd Street.
Officials said that 40-year-old Matthew Zerrata was in a Toyota Rav4 going eastbound. Due to factors not confirmed, the vehicle lost control and crashed. As a result, Matthew Zerrata was seriously injured.
There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident additional details are unavailable.
