Mauro Timoteo Padilla Killed in Work Fall Accident in Mont Belvieu, TX
Mont Belveiu, TX — February 19, 2022, Mauro Padilla was killed as the result of a fall from a rooftop at a work site along Eagle Drive.
Preliminary details about the accident said that the incident happened just after 8:00 a.m. at 11607 Eagle Drive.
The company said to be associated with the incident in the OSHA report is J&M Brothers LLC. Initial details said that 63-year-old Mauro Padilla was walking along a sheet metal roof while working. It appears the roof was wet at the time, and Padilla fell from the roof to the ground. Due to this, Padilla succumbed to fatal injuries.
The OSHA report claims Padilla was not tied off at the time of the incident. They also allege that the company violated at least one OSHA rule and was recommended for a penalty of approximately $3,482. Additional details about this and other factors surrounding the accident are unavailable.
