Me Thi Le Killed in Hit-and-Run Car Accident in Houston, TX
Houston, TX — March 20, 2024, Me Thi Le was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian versus car accident along Howell Sugarland Road.
According to authorities, 75-year-old Me Thi Le was on foot crossing the northbound lanes of Howell Sugarland Road from east to west when the accident took place.

The causal factors that led to the accident are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, Le was struck by one vehicle—possibly a white Ford—before being run over by a second vehicle. The second vehicle is described as a black Cadillac Escalade. The person(s) in each of the suspect vehicles reportedly fled the scene, neglecting to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim.
Le incurred fatal injuries as a result of the accident and was declared deceased at the scene. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
