Melinda DeLaPaz Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident on Yorktown Blvd. in Corpus Christi, TX
Corpus Christi, TX — April 22, 2023, Melinda DeLaPaz was injured in a single-vehicle accident around 2:07 a.m. on Yorktown Blvd. in Corpus Christi.
According to officials, the victim's Toyota Corolla was westbound and about to enter the intersection with Lake Micala Dr. when her car somehow swerved into the road's median and collided with a light pole.
Ms. DeLaPaz was taken to a medical center with reportedly serious injuries.
Officials have not released what caused the accident.
